WhatsApp Finally Comes To Ipad |
After years of user requests, WhatsApp has officially launched an iPad app. It syncs seamlessly with your phone and supports all the usual features, including voice notes, calls and media sharing. |
Insights: It’s taken long enough but great that we finally have WhatsApp on iPad. Now if only Instagram could follow suit with a proper iPad app… still waiting! |
TikTok Adds Link Stickers To Stories |
Insights: Being able to share links is a really powerful tool for small businesses and marketers. It enables businesses and marketers to drive traffic to websites, promote affiliate products or link to other TikTok content. As with Instagram, this is a small feature that could have a big impact. A good time to reimagine your use of Link Stickers whether on Instagram or TikTok. |

OpenAI Introduces Improved Memory For ChatGPT |
ChatGPT subscription plans now remember your preferences, tone, and previous interactions automatically across all your sessions. Look for “Reference chat history” under Settings/Personalization. This is in addition to ‘Reference saved memories’ which are snippets of information you have to ask ChatGPT to remember. |
Insights: A really useful update if you’re using ChatGPT to write social content, create client materials and organise workshops or other events. It provides additional context as ChatGPT gets to know more about your and your business and it happens automatically. For example, say you’re running a regular event like a BNI meeting then it will automatically note all details so will include what’s necessary when you create marketing content or social media posts about the event. Great for saving time, it keeps responses aligned with your tone, and makes ChatGPT feel more like a personal assistant. |
Microsoft Copilot Launches Notebook Feature |
Microsoft has launched Notebook within 365 Copilot. It’s a powerful new feature similar to ChatGPT’s Projects. It provides a dedicated space to let you work on specific task, keeping context between all related chats. This makes it easier to plan, iterate, and refine content like blog posts, strategies, or all whilst following examples, style guides and links to related websites (not available on ChatGPT) that you’ve added to the Notebook. |
Insights: This is great news for AI power users who want to go beyond quick prompts and who want to use AI to help organise and manage their work. Like ChatGPT’s Projects, Copilot Notebook is ideal for ongoing tasks where you want structure, memory, and flexibility without starting from scratch each time. Notebooks and Projects are good examples of how AI features can help improve the quality of your work. |
Practical Pointer – How to Create a Custom AI Assistant For Your Business |
Using ChatGPT’s Custom GPT feature, you can build a tailored assistant or chatbot that responds with topics and themes of your choice and in your style. Your CustomGPT can reference your documents, your websites plus your instructions. A subscription version such at ChatGPT Plus is required to create Custom GPTs. Great for FAQs or an intelligent chatbot on your website – unlike those older, unhelpful ones! |
>> Go to chatgpt.com, click “GPTs” → “Create.” |
>> Upload your docs and link to relevant websites, set tone and style, and add key instructions. |
>> Use your custom GPT for FAQs, chatbots or guides, e.g. Product FAQs, customer services chatbots or new starter guides. |
A Tool We Love : Gamma |
We’re now using Gamma for creating training presentations and visual content – and we really do love it. It’s transformed the way we put together decks for social media and AI training and we’ve had loads of positive feedback from delegates. The smart templates, ease of use, and beautiful designs make it a go-to tool if you’re looking to present ideas clearly and professionally or wanting to create carousels for social media. |
Top Tip – Keep your data secure on AI tools |
If you don’t want AI tools to use your data in chats for training then you should switch off data sharing in the tools you use. This is particularly important if you’re using ‘personal AI’ tools and your employed. Data sharing doesn’t happen in 365 Copilot so there is no need for an option to switch off, but for the personal version of Copilot, go to the bottom of the main window in your browser and look for “Copilot may make mistakes. Your conversations are personalised and help train AI.” and select Opt out. In ChatGPT go to Settings > Data Controls and toggle off ‘Improve model for everyone’. |
