The Internet is a rapidy expanding and dynamic medium that has now shaken off its internet bubble to bust reputation of the early 2000’s and is growing up to become the greatest and most significant marketing tool since the television in fact the marketing spend online has now for the first time in history supassed that of televison!
The challenge for many small business owners and would be entrepenurs is navigating their way round the jargon filled pages and promises of untold riches not to mention the emails and unsocilited calls promising to get you to the top of Google by this time next Tuesday!
I often liken the internet to the gold rush of the 1800 complete with snake oil salesman in the form of unscrupulous SEO (search engine optimizors) and bucking bronco in the form of Googles Adword Marketing system.
I was speaking with a business contact today who after having sunk in over a million in cash was raving about being able to sell £650 worth of high margin product and hour on auto pilot (how cool is that!) Now this is a guy with seriously large property potfolio in London (2800 flats etc to be precise) and certainly has no need to build an internet business, yet he tells me he get more of a buzz selling online than buying and selling property.
He sees the internet as his next fortune and quite frankly so do and going back to the gold rush analogy the people that made the most money back then were supplying the tools and services to the gold hunters, so my suggestion to any one intersted in making money online is to learn the skill and art of marketing online you’ll never be short of opportunity of money.
